Kim Hoppe, the Artist & Designer behind CUTEHOUS, uses Architecture & Interior Design to evoke feelings of comfort, joy, nostalgia & love. Much of her inspiration comes from 1930’s era homes with charming proportions, sweet detailing and a quiet simplicity. Soft colors are integrated with natural textures and minimal lines to create a sense of calm. She views these projects much like her paintings on canvas while adding her knowledge of space planning, drafting, construction drawings and practical building methods.
Our everyday lives and moods are affected by the spaces we live in. The frequency of color and the beauty of a space can lift our spirits and quiet the mind. A house should feel like a hug, like being held, making you feel safe and loved so you can be yourself.
